Make a card with room for your own words
This holiday card template keeps the front simple so your message can be the part the recipient remembers. The original star cover says Happy Holidays, making it useful when you prefer a seasonal greeting without naming a particular celebration. You can also use it as a free Christmas card template and write your Christmas wishes inside after folding the sheet.
Understand the fold before decorating
The download is one landscape US Letter page. Its right half is the front cover and its left half is the back. Print on one side, then fold down the centre with the printed design facing outward. The reverse becomes the blank interior. Make one test card with ordinary paper before using heavier stock, and check which side your printer prints on.
Write a message that sounds like you
Address the recipient by name and mention a shared memory, a thank-you or a hope for the coming year. Two sincere sentences can be enough. If several people are signing, write the main message first and leave room below it. Children can colour the star and add a drawing inside. Allow markers or glue to dry fully before closing the card.
Choose the right file for the next occasion
The free card is ready to print and write on; its artwork is not an editable Word layout and it does not include an envelope pattern. Measure the folded card before choosing an envelope. The related paid pack offers birthday card designs, a plain editable message sheet and a message list. Those resources serve birthday greetings, while this free download supplies the seasonal cover shown here.
